Cindy Jenkins and Walker Greenwell gave a talk to the pony clubbers at the UNH Light Horse Classroom, including hunt rules and etiquette, landowners, hounds, attire and purpose for it, terminology, hunting and organization of a hunt, kennels, drag vs. live hunting ... They included a game and crossword puzzle.
"Moneypenny" and "Fanfare" settled right in for their afternoon with the Squamscott Pony Club. They were perfect riding in the car and as ambassadors for the Hunt. "Fanfare" came with her trophies from the New England Hound Show. She behaved like a star. Some of the pictures show her looking very intent........well, she is watching the tv and listening to the hounds in the Chronicle show. She even cried out at one point to join in with the tv pack. We all were mesmerized by her intent viewing. The pony club group was attentive, interactive, enthusiastic and fun. They made it a great day for us.
