31 WCSD employees and guests spent the day hiking to the top of beautiful Mt. Tallac to enjoy amazing views of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay and Fallen Leaf Lake. It was a long, steep, difficult hike, but well worth the effort!

On a beautiful Tuesday morning, WCSD employees enjoyed a 1.5 mile hike along Squaw Creek.

2009 Inaugural WCSD Family Ice Skating Event! Over 200 WCSD employees and guests enjoyed an evening of skating, falling and laughing together at the Reno Rink of the River in downtown Reno. Event attendees donated over a barrel of food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada!

On a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon 61 WCSD employees and guests enjoyed a wonderful snow shoe hike and lunch overlooking beautiful Lake Tahoe.

17 WCSD employees had a wonderful evening learning new tips and recipes for cooking new and delisious meals.

WCSD employees joined to learn how to avoid predators and learn basic self defense moves with instructor Dewayne Manning. It was a fun and educational evening that resulted in everyone feeling more confident and aware.

14 WCSD Employees enjoyed a fun and delicious cooking class at Whole Foods where we learned how to make Shaved Funnel and Mushroom Salad, Gratin of Sunchokes, Chicken Bouillabaise and Pear Polenta Cake!

Oh boy, am I stuffed! WCSD employees joined at Whole Foods for a fun and educational cooking class. After learning some great tips and watching many dishes put together everyone sampled the wonderful food that was prepared.

Over 30 WCSD employees and guests went for a 6 mile hike on Thomas Creek Trail. They enjoyed 65 degree weather, sunny skies and beautiful views of snow covered Mt. Rose and Mt. Slide!

75 people attended an Open House hosted by the WCSD Wellness Interns where they enjoyed samples and recipes for 16 Healthy Holiday Treats.
