1975-Patrick-in-Bodybuilding-days
10/21/10 (1 photo)
The photo in the gym was taken around 1975, at Vince's Gym in North Hollywood, when I was living with actress Shelley Duvall. We broke up in 1976 after two years of living together. After that Shelley starred in The Shining and Popeye. But we were happy then; we lived in a 5 BR castle on a hilltop beneath the Hollywood sign, up LA's Beachwood Canyon. The address was 2869 Durand Drive, Hollywood. We had 2 Harlequin great danes, 1 cat, 5 gineua pigs, 4 ducks, and plenty of friends. Sweet, languid days... I wanted to be a filmmaker and actor, and was getting out on auditions and landing the occasional acting job, while Shelley was becoming a star. Our friends included young upcoming actors, some of whom became stars, and some of whom were already famous. It was a fun time, Earth Wind and Fire playing on the radio and me driving a new Mercedes with the license plate BUZBY. We were full of hopes and dreams for the future.
Vacation in the Hamptons with Marti Fortelni, with Alexandra, Jack and Anne Marie
7/11/10 (125 photos)
We stayed with our dear friend Marti and her baby twins in the Hamptons from 2 July to 11 July, and had a wonderful time. Her husband, my longtime friend Marius, was away in Europe. Most of these photos were taken by Alexandra's mother, Anne Marie; there was plenty of shopping and a great day on Marius' Sunseeker yacht. Baby Jack had his first airline flight, from LAX to JFK and I was lucky to get first class seats for all of us with my miles. Halcyon, happy days! I love my family.

The Bachelor Ball 2010
2/12/10 (158 photos)
Last night we went to the Bachelor Ball, a masked ball every February. Alexandra and I went as Tweedledee and Tweedledum (tres sexy!) At our table, Bachelor host Mike Herman invited Marie Manvel, Bobby Knoop, Gavin Grazer, and myself, and our women. Our host Mr. Herman also provided hotel rooms by the pool for his guests, and the daytime pics were taken on the morning after. Some of us were more hung over than others!
Skiing Deer Valley w Germano & Marius during Sundance
1/25/10 (103 photos)
Skiing in Park City, Utah during the Sundance Film Festival, with longtime friends Germano from Italy and Marius from NY. Met them both in the 1980's and we remained friends. Stayed at the Stein Erickson Lodge in Deer Valley, and it was a wonderful time. The big rains in LA had migrated West and gave us great snow. Evenings, we dined at River Horse, Chimayo, Mustang, the Stein Erickson Lodge and more. Visited Sam Sorbo and her family at the new St. Regis. Jackie Forrest and her friend Collete came to dinner one evening. We didn't see too much of the Sundance Film Festival, but I did see Ben Affleck having breakfast alone at the Stein one morning, and stopped to tell him about Smokefree America and the cause -- but forgot to mention my book about the RJR family, The Gilded Leaf, as a possible series for HBO. No, I did not take his photo or ask him for an autograph, LOL.
Baby Jack BEST photos, 0 - 4 months
11/20/09 (84 photos)
From the preparation of our baby room, to Alexandra's giving birth, to our first days and weeks at home, with a steady stream of friends and family visiting, these photos are a fair sample of our life during the first weeks of Jack's life. And yeah, we were too tired to document any of the many feedings and diaper changes in the wee hours. Man, what we did for love! Patrick & Alexandra & little Jack :)

Heli-skiing in Valemount, Canada
4/11/09 (428 photos)
An incredible week with friends in Canada, heli-skiing in fresh powder. Photos of skiing come first, then face pics, interior photos, and more ski pics. We stayed at Valemount Lodge in the Caribou Mountains, an hour's flight from Calgary and run by Canadian Mountain Holidays. Every day, the helicopter droped us at the top of 6 to 8 different mountains; we averaged over a dozen flights daily. Often we landed on an impossibly small peak, and after the helicopter left, there was only the wind, silence, and vast, gently sloping fields of fresh white powder stretching out below. We never jumped out of the helicopter as in the extreme ski movies; we always landed. We ate picnic lunches outdoors daily; there were only six of us staying in the private 10 room lodge. We had two chefs -- Herb for pastries, and Dave for the meals. Their food was wonderful, & Melissa's body-work healing after a long day of skiing. What a week!
Thanksgiving 2008 at Aron & Lisa's house in Manhattan Beach, CA
11/28/08 (112 photos)
Thanksgiving at the Behroud's was memorable, with children running about, and a great spread -- Alexandra made the mashed potatoes and sweet potatos, and brought a carrot cake and pecan pie from Susiecakes. Her parents, Anne Marie and Stavros, brought two bottles of Veuve Clicot champagne... we were first to arrive. Alexandra, her parents and I differed on this: they said it was polite to arrive on time, while I said it was polite to be late. Aron's brother Adam, his wife and kids and sister-in-law came; so did Lisa's Mom Sue, her husband Matt, and Aron's Mom too. It was a memorable evening. Patrick took these photos on his iPhone... ok so I am getting a better camera for Christmas! But I am glad we have these.
Sun Valley, Idaho in August, 2008
8/9/08 (218 photos)
My annual summer week in Sun Valley, Idaho. My sweet wife A. didn't want to take vacation time, and said it was fine for me to go off on my own for some mountain biking. I have good friends who live there, Brant Cooper and Jeff Bradford, and biked with them. Took these pics of the trails I love -- Fox Creek Loop, the 2 hour Baldy Mountain descent (used the ski lift to get to the top), and the Adams Gulch Loop (upper trails were a grind.) The weather was perfect -- 80s in the day, 60s at night. The wildflowers were still abundant along the trails, and I smelled the pines biking thru the forest. Brant was managing Chandler's, so I stopped there most eves, and went to the 110 piece symphony, which plays every year the first two weeks of August. Sat together briefly with smiling old Rosie Hewlett, widow of HP's founder; she is Jeff's Mom. Also enjoyed the company of Brant's gf Kristina, also from LA.
Angela's Blau's birthday party, given by Dave at the Viceroy
8/2/08 (67 photos)
On a midsummer night, much merriment was made when Dave Blau threw a birthday dinner for his sweet wife Angela at L.A.'s posh Viceroy, complete with limo ride and drinks at home after dinner. Later that eve, the camera with these photos mysteriously vanished, causing searching and much consternation. As the weeks passed, we all came to believe these images were lost for good. Four months to the day passed. On December 2, as I was getting dressed for my own birthday dinner at Osteria Mozza with Alexandra, Stavros & Annemarie, I chose the same dress shoes I wore to Angela's birthday. My left foot encountered the camera inside. I gave Alex a CD of these photos, but she told me she will delete most she is in. She is clueless as to how beautiful she is, despite my telling her, and that is just one more reason I love her so. I told her I posted them at this gallery, and to my great surprise, she was fine with it. Women!
Alexandra and PR in NYC, and the Hamptons with Marius & Marti
6/29/08 (424 photos)
Alexandra & I stayed three nights at NYC's Millenium Hotel in the theatre district. We saw the shows Gypsy and Spring Awakening, visited the Met. Alex loved the shopping on Fifth Ave - a small trial for me, but worth it to see her smiles. On July 2, we got a car from Avis and drove to the Hamptons, where we stayed with Marius and Marti Fortelni. My old friend Carl von Bismarck was there with his wife, kids and staff; through him, I met Jim Wrubel and other German- speaking friends. Marius' other houseguests included Csaba Vertes of Zurich and son Bennet, and Ludwig and Renate Froelich and their 16 year old daughter, Marie. The Froelichs live in Vienna where he is overseeing Marius' project of converting the former Swedish embassy into condos. I rented a bike and biked the sandy trails through the woods. We cruised on Marius' 60' Sunseeker to Block Island one day, and Shelter Island another. Fun, and great memory.
Polo match, with friends in Santa Barbara
7/9/07 (15 photos)
July 22 -- Joined Alexandra's longtime friend Robin Fell and her husband Bob for a polo match in SB. Their kids, Alexandra and Harrison, are both great kids.
Honeymoon in Kauai - Patrick & Alexandra
7/2/07 (165 photos)
After two nights at the Princeville on Kauai's North Shore, we moved over to a two bedroom beachfront condo next to the hotel, overlooking Bali Hai. On our first day we sailed on a big catamaran along the Nepali coast. In the days that followed, we had beachside massages for two, toured the island by helicopter, kayaked up the Wailua river, hiked to Secret Falls, and stopped by the Hyatt resort in Poipu for cocktails. Our evenings varied from saipan noodles at an eatery frequented by locals, to staying in, to a romantic dinner at the Princeville Hotel, on July 4th. We began before sunset on a screened-off table on the hotel's terrace restaurant. Later we had a clear view of the fireworks being set off by locals along the beaches of Hanalei Bay below. On our final day we ziplined across jungle canyons. We're grateful for the blessings in our lives -- health, good friends, and this sweet week together.

This album is a selection of our best wedding photos. There is a second album with ALL our wedding pics (over 800 of em!) on here as well. My sweet bride, Alexandra Barbara Olympios, and I -- Patrick Reynolds -- exchanged our vows on June 30th, 2007, in Bel Air, California. It was a magical afternoon which both of us will always remember. Photos were taken by several guests and by a professional photographer team, John and Brenda Wilkes, who served as both videographers and photographers. They may be contacted at 1(310) 863-4204. This album lacks photos of many pf our 90 guests, so if you don't see your table here, please look in the larger album of ALL our wedding pics. Enjoy!

Sun Valley ID, September 2006
9/18/06 (137 photos)
Here's proof of what an amazing place Sun Valley is in summer. I went solo and stayed with friends who live there; Alexandra got a new job and was training for it in NJ. We'll both go back for skiing. My photos show the magnificent hiking / biking trails, with or without the ski lift to the top. Breathtaking views! I took no pics of the river rafting, fly fishing, and ice-skating on a huge outdoor rink. Plus golf, tennis, horses, and swimming. Evenings there are great restaurants, 10 movie screens, and multiple bars on Main Street. The older crowd goes to the Sun Valley Lodge, where they also have ice shows with the current crop of Olympic gold medal winners -- names you will definitely recall. For the first two weeks of August at 6pm, there is an annual outdoor 110 piece symphony. You can bring a bottle of wine & spread out a blanket on the grass. Enjoy! More pics at www.sunvalley.com.
