Welcome to Beadesigns by Dale. My professional background is in music and psychotherapy -beading is my own form of therapy. For many years I have expressed my creativity through writing and performing music, quilting and embroidery. My introduction to beading is relatively recent, and has evolved from stringing to bead embroidery, beadweaving and bead crochet. In addition to the endless visual possibilities, I love the tactile quality and elegance of bead crochet and beadweaving.
I hope you experience as much pleasure wearing my pieces as I have in making them.

Beadweaving combines my love of sewing and embroidery with the colors and vibrancy of beads - the best of two worlds. The necklaces in this section use a variety of beadweaving stitches -- Right angle weave, Ndbele, Peyote, Spiral, and Netting. Several of the pieces also include Bead Embroidery. Prices range from $140- $400.

These necklaces are all made using bead crochet. Some incorporate patterns, ranging from a simple spiral to more complex designs. Prices range from $105 - $175.

These medallions are created using buttons as the focal point - Czech glass, vintage and modern buttons. The bails are beaded, using either strung or peyote stitched attachments, and designed to be removed, if desired, from a necklace. Prices range from $85 - $105.

The lariats in this section are made using spiral stitch, with brances that include pearls, semi-precious beads, glass beads and specialty beads. Prices range from $170 - $200.

Because of the many women in my life affected by breast cancer, I decided to make a series of pins to raise awareness and money for research. I have recently added bracelets and necklaces as well.

These are examples of the style of earrings that I make. Earrings can be made to custom order, pierced or non-pierced, and to coordinate with a pin or necklace. Prices range from $30 - $40.
